Wedding Morning Details

Little Things That Tell Your Story

One of my favourite parts of your wedding morning is photographing the beautiful details you’ve chosen so thoughtfully. These are the little pieces that quietly tell your story, and they deserve to be captured just as carefully as the big moments.

Before your wedding day, I always suggest gathering your details together in one place. This not only helps your photographer, but it also makes your morning feel calmer and more organised when it’s time to get dressed.

Here’s what I recommend setting aside:

• Your wedding invitations or stationery (especially anything with your names and date on it)

• Rings and jewellery

• Shoes

• Your bouquet and florals

• Perfume

• Ceremony or Mass booklet

• Any sentimental items such as family brooches, heirloom pieces, or keepsakes

Having everything in one corner means when it’s time to put on your jewellery or final touches, everything is right there. Simple, calm, and stress-free.

✨ A little insider tip ✨

Pop a few cotton ear tips into your bouquet. They’re perfect for dabbing away happy tears during the ceremony without rubbing your makeup. Such a small thing, but incredibly helpful.

🌿 Another gentle tip 🌿

Take your bouquet out of water about 45 minutes to an hour before the ceremony. This allows the stems to dry and helps prevent your dress from getting damp from water droplets.

Your wedding morning should feel relaxed, unhurried, and full of excitement. Thoughtful preparation like this allows me to capture your details beautifully, while you stay present and enjoy every moment.

As always, I’m here to guide you every step of the way.
