Family Bonds – Capturing Rebecca & Vinny’s Journey
Recently, I had the pleasure of welcoming back Rebecca and Vinny to my Longford photography studio for a very special family photoshoot. Years ago, I photographed their beautiful wedding day, and now I’ve had the joy of seeing their love story grow into a family of four.
This time, it was all about their children a proud big brother and his adorable 9-month-old sister. Capturing siblings together is such an important part of family photography. These moments are fleeting: the way an older sibling looks at their little sister with curiosity and pride, or the sweet giggles that happen when they sit side by side. These are the images that parents treasure forever, and that children will look back on as part of their shared story.
I absolutely love photographing children in my studio. There’s something magical about capturing their personalities just as they are whether it’s a cheeky grin, a shy smile, or a little hand reaching out for comfort. Each expression is genuine, and it’s these authentic moments that make the photographs timeless.
For me, it’s an incredible privilege to have photographed Rebecca and Vinny’s wedding and now to see them as parents, with a growing bond between their son and daughter. It’s families like theirs that remind me why I love what I do.
